An Arden Batik Update

March 2017

After a winter that included some travel and some work in my winter studio, I am now looking forward to being back in my summer location across the road -- maybe late April or early May.  I have been working on cards and special orders, and am beginning to experiment with scenes of Kennebec Lake.  I have also framed some smaller pieces between two sheets of glass with a narrow metal frame that can stand on a shelf or hang from the wall.  The system allows light to show through the waxed fabric, and I like the effect.  (See above).

My winter hours are by chance or appointment.  Come by and see what I'm up to!
My work is also available in Ontario at the Riverguild in Perth and Cornerstone in Kingston. If you want more pictures of recent batik, see my Facebook page -- www.facebook.ca/ardenbatik.
